Free residential dumping for Chehalis residents to be offered Saturday 

The City of Chehalis will host a free residential cleanup event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 11.

Dumpsters will be set up at Stan Hedwall Park, 1501 Rice Road, for Chehalis residents to dispose of household refuse.

The dropoff site will be staffed by volunteers and will be open for one day only.

The city will also be providing free organic waste disposal at Stan Hedwall Park.

Items not accepted include appliances, tires, paint, batteries or chemicals of any kind. For those items, contact Lewis County Solid Waste.

The dumpsters have limited capacity, so when a dumpster is full, it will be closed.

This event is open to those with proof of residence in Chehalis.
