In focus: Lewis County Rodeo rides and bucks through Southwest Washington Fair

Sanctioned by the Northwest Professional Rodeo Association for the second year, the Lewis County Rodeo had its first of two showcases at the Southwest Washington Fair on on Wednesday, Aug. 14.

The second is set for the fair grandstands at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15.

The rodeo features multiple events including bareback riding, tie down roping, breakaway roping, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, bull riding and mutton busting.

These photos were captured by Chronicle photographer Ridley Hudson during the fiurst night of the rodeo on Wednesday.
