In focus: Prayer vigil held in Adna after local boy's leukemia diagnosis

Community members gathered at Back Memorial Park in Adna on Sunday for a candlelight vigil to offer prayers and support for 5-year-old Roman Wagner and his family.

Roman, the son of Dr. Peter Wagner and Abbey Wagner, was recently diagnosed with leukemia and is currently being treated in a hospital.

The event was organized online. Attendees were encouraged to wear orange, the color associated with leukemia awareness and support.

“Come show and share your love! This hits us all deep in the heart,” one organizer wrote on Facebook.
