"Elephant in the room" censure tramples Rep. Abrams; Brunemann and Salvato ready to go!

According to George Brunemann's campaign page, the Ohio Republican Party refuses to endorse their incumbent, Cindy Abrams, for State Representative for the 29th District. The 29th District, now known as the Harrison Distric,t as opposed to the former Colerain District, encompasses Colerain, Harrison, Pleasant Run, Cleves, and parts of Crosby Township with a little gerrymander section pulling out of western Addyston.

For over 3 decades, this district was controlled by the Blessing Family. First Lou, then his son "Bill" inherited the post. Neither a shining star for the House much less their constituents. Rarely experiencing any competition from the Democratic Party, much less a fellow Republican challenger. "Bill" Blessing moved on to the Senate and Cindy Abrams, a seasoned local politician, stepped in to fill the Blessing family shoes and their corruption-ladened coffers with money from First Energy, Rumpke, and the usual fare of the DeWine-Seitz Pay-to-Play team.

Brunemann asserts that her failure to garner the endorsement was her comeuppance for voting against an ultra-conservative House Speaker and, instead, joining forces with the more moderate Republican candidate for House Speaker, Jason Stephens.

Stephens followed the Householder playbook to secure the gavel for the House Chamber. He joined arms with the Ohio Democrats and 21 other Republicans to win the post. It's hard to imagine that far-right Republicans could have such a far-shorter memory than is required to win within a super majority. They forgot that those "other" chairs in the room, belong to the Democratic Party.

But, State Representative Cindy Abrams does what she's told by her mentor, Bill Seitz. Only problem was, Seitz was retiring so he didn't have to suffer the repercussions and he just assumed to take Abrams down with him as he slivers away from the capitol with pockets full of cash.

Abrams bore the brunt of her political loyalty, suffering through a painful and embarrassing censure by her fellow Republicans. Seitz convinced the party to eliminate the provision of their censure that specified that all those Republicans who crossed the aisle to double-cross the status quo would not be endorsed nor campaign funding.

Per Brunemann's post - that got her the ax and set him up to take over her seat, with the voters' approval, of course.

Abrams did a pretty good job of alienating her constituents over the last couple years, as well. She took a nice paycheck from Rumpke to run and hide when her own neighbors in Harrison, Crosby, and Whitewater Townships begged for her assistance to block Rumpke from turning Harrison into Mt. Rumpke 2.0 right on the cherished Whitewater River. Abrams also took a pretty hefty sum from First Energy and associates during the biggest scandal in state history. She sat on her morals for over a year, refusing to oust Householder, much less speak up on the thievery she witnessed as an insider on the deal.

Enter, stage right - far right. George Brunemann. A sophisticated businessman with a well-laid foundation in politics and some deep pockets. Brunemann is well- situated to pursue the votes of residents within the 29th district to secure the seat for the strong-conservative majority at the House. Republicans will be secure in maintaining the Republican agenda via Brunemann. Brunemann for Ohio is a proud supporter of Friends for Liberty.

Enter stage left. Joe Salvato. Salvato is a moderate Democrat, more centered in the political spectrum with enough smarts to know the corruption in Ohio is our biggest obstacle to success. Noting the scandals, like First Energy that pads our electric bill every month heaped upon working families as the wealthy remain tax free on their incomes. Salvato seeks bipartisan, common sense approaches to the financial burdens Ohio families are carrying on behalf of a corrupt, corporate-welfare state. Salvato subscribes to Citizens Not Politicians, as a hallmark organization that reflects his political position.

However, he does not go so far as to say he won their endorsement.
