Vote for Mississippi girls high school athlete of the week Aug. 19-24

There were several top performers across the state in girls high school sports, but only one can be voted athlete of the week for Aug. 19-24.

Nominations

Kinsley Ables, Jackson Academy: Ables recorded 25 kills, 14 blocks and two digs for Jackson Academy in seven matches.

Aubrey Dale, Brandon: Dale produced 53 kills and 48 digs for Brandon in eight matches.

Jania Rose, Lake Cormorant: Rose had 21 digs, four aces and five assists in Lake Cormorant's 3-0 sweep over Saltillo.

Myah Favre, Our Lady Academy: Favre tallied 36 kills, 17 digs and five aces in four matches for Our Lady Academy.
