    Mississippi Miss Volleyball winners for 2024 announced by MHSAA. See full list of winners

    The Mississippi High School Activities Association announced its inaugural C Spire Miss Volleyball players of the year awards for the 2024 season for Classes 1A-7A with the state championships, hosted in Clinton at Mississippi College, taking place Oct. 17-18.

    Here are the Miss Volleyball winners in each class.

    Class 7A

    Lynde Barnes

    Senior | Gulfport

    Barnes has 332 kills, 133 blocks, 37 aces and 36 digs in 84 sets played. The senior middle blocker has helped Gulfport to a 28-6 record.

    Class 6A

    Sofia Gonzalez

    Junior | Lake Cormorant

    The junior outside hitter won her second Miss Volleyball Ward after winning it as a sophomore in 2023. Gonzalez has 383 kills, 336 digs, 77 aces and 42 assists, helping the defending Class 6A champs to a 35-5 record.

    Class 5A

    Mabry Eason

    Senior | Lafayette

    Eason, the senior outside hitter, has helped Lafayette to a 22-10 record this year and an 8-0 record in region play and helped Lafayette to a Class 5A title in 2023.

    Class 4A

    Adilyn Vaughn

    Junior | Newton County

    Vaughn has produced 321 kills, 152, digs, 33 blocks and 32 aces in 80 sets played. The outside hitter helped Newton County to a Class 4A title last season and Newton County to a 30-4-1 record.

    Class 3A

    Myah Favre

    Junior | Our Lady Academy

    The junior middle hitter has recorded 494 kills, 165 digs, 60 aces, and 57 blocks this season. Favre has helped the defending 3A champions to a 37-4 record.

    Class 2A

    Macie Phifer

    Senior | Ingomar

    Phifer wins her second Miss Volleyball award after winning it in 2023. The senior outside hitter has 510 kills, 65 aces, and 25 blocks, leading Ingomar to a 37-2 record after capturing the 2A titles last year.

    Class 1A

    Mylee Switcher

    Sophomore | Pine Grove

    The sophomore surpassed 1,000 career assists this season and helped Pine Grove to its first state title in 2023 as a freshman. Switcher has 406 assists, 249 digs, 102 kills and 62 aces, helping Pine Grove to a 20-17 record.
