Four-star Kemper County offensive lineman Mario Nash Jr. announced his commitment to Florida State football on X, formerly Twitter, Thursday.

Nash is ranked as the No. 10 player in Mississippi, the No. 14 interior offensive lineman and the No. 279 overall recruit in the Class of 2025, according to 247Sports Composite.

The senior offensive lineman was committed to Mississippi State since June 24 but decommitted Monday.

"First of all, I would like to thank God for His many blessings and the opportunities he has given me to continue playing football at the next level," Nash said on his X post. "I'm truly grateful for every Coach that has recruited me and spent valuable time pursuing me.

"I want to thank my parents for being by my side to help guide me through this journey. I want to thank all of my Coaches who have helped developed me along the way. With that being said, I am shutting down my recruitment and committing to Florida State Seminoles ! Time to CLIMB!"

The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder chose Florida State over Ole Miss , Mississippi State, Clemson, Alabama, LSU, and others. With Nash's commitment, Florida State picks up its ninth four-star recruit in the 2025 Class.

Nash was selected as the No. 9 player in the Clarion Ledger's Dandy Dozen 2024 list.
