Swinney Comments on Team’s Injury Status Ahead of UGA Game

During his press conference Tuesday, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney commented on the injury status of his team heading into Saturday’s season opener vs. Georgia.

“Everybody’s right now ready to play,” Swinney said. “Everybody’s good to go.”

Swinney was asked if that includes sophomore cornerback Shelton Lewis, who dealt with a leg injury in fall camp.

“Good to go until you hear otherwise,” Swinney answered. “Everybody’s day to day.”

Saturday’s Aflac Kickoff Game between the 14 ^th -ranked Tigers and No. 1 Bulldogs in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium is set to kick off at noon and will be nationally televised on ABC.
