    Multiple Former Tigers among NFL Roster Cuts Ahead of Deadline

    A number of former Clemson Tigers were among the players released by various NFL teams ahead of Tuesday’s 53-man roster cut deadline.

    The list of former Tigers who were released include wide receiver Justyn Ross (Kansas City Chiefs), linebacker Tanner Muse (Jacksonville Jaguars) and defensive tackle Albert Huggins (Dallas Cowboys).

    Along with Muse, former Clemson offensive lineman and longtime Jacksonville Jaguar Tyler Shatley was released by the Jags , and in addition to Ross, fellow former Clemson receiver Cornell Powell was released by the Chiefs as well.

    Among the other former Tigers released were wide receiver Martavis Bryant and defensive end K.J. Henry, both by the Washington Commanders .

    Meanwhile, offensive lineman Tremayne Anchrum was released by the New Orleans Saints and defensive end Carlos Watkins was released by the Los Angeles Rams .

    Both defensive tackle DeShawn Williams and wide receiver Deon Cain were released by the Buffalo Bills .

    Another former Clemson receiver, Joseph Ngata, was waived by the Philadelphia Eagles , and former Tiger center Will Putnam was waived by the Las Vegas Raiders.

    The deadline for teams to cut their rosters down to 53 players was 4 p.m. ET Tuesday.
