In his final media availability of the week on Wednesday evening following Clemson’s practice, head coach Dabo Swinney was asked for the latest on the injury status of sophomore cornerback Shelton Lewis, who dealt with a leg injury during fall camp.

“He’s been day to day for the last couple weeks, and he’s still day to day,” Swinney said, when asked if Lewis has been able to practice this week. “He’s still getting better every day.”

Swinney was also asked about junior cornerback Jeadyn Lukus and said he’s still day to day as well.

“And me too. We’re all day to day around here. Everybody,” Swinney joked. “We’re all day to day, week to week … Just hoping that we get another day tomorrow. That’s all I’m hoping for. One day at a time.”

Saturday’s Aflac Kickoff Game between No. 14 Clemson and No. 1 Georgia in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium is set to kick off at noon and will be nationally televised on ABC.
