A former Clemson standout wasn’t happy with the 14th-ranked Tigers’ play-calling during Saturday’s game against No. 1 Georgia in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Former Clemson and All-ACC offensive lineman, and current ACC Network analyst Eric Mac Lain took to social media in the third quarter, voicing his frustration with the play-calling.

Mac Lain’s post on X (formerly Twitter) came after Clemson’s first drive after halftime, when the Tigers moved the ball downfield and got inside the Georgia 10-yard line before stalling and ultimately settling for a 26-yard field goal by Nolan Hauser with six and a half minutes left in the third quarter.

It was Clemson’s first points of the game and cut the Tigers’ deficit to 13-3, before Georgia responded with another touchdown to make the score 20-3 late in the third.
