Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney held his weekly Zoom conference call with the media on Sunday evening.

Swinney gave an update on his team’s injury status coming out of the 14th-ranked Tigers’ 34-3 loss to No. 1 Georgia on Saturday in Atlanta.

“Injury-wise, we came through the game in a good spot,” Swinney said. “(Starting left guard) Marcus Tate got banged up, but I think he’s going to be OK. So, we feel good about that.”

Swinney’s Tigers will return to the field for their home opener against App State this Saturday, Sept. 7 (8 p.m., ACC Network).
