Texas Lineman Announces Clemson Offer

Clemson handed out a new 2025 offer late Thursday.

3-star OL Nelson McGuire (Midlothian, TX), announced the offer via social media.

McGuire was at one time committed to Minnesota, before deciding to decommit in June and open things back up. The 6-foot-4, 320-pound prospect hails from the same high school as freshman wideout Bryant Wesco.

With Clemson offering, McGuire now has more than 20 offers total. Auburn, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Florida have all offered since his decommitment and he also has offers from Texas tech, Arkansas and Kansas State.

The Tigers already have three offensive linemen committed in the 2025 class in 4-stars Brayden Jacobs, Easton Ware and Rowan Byrne, and are looking to add at least one more player at the position.
