True Freshman Scores First TD of Season

CLEMSON — Clemson did not waste much time to get on the scoreboard Saturday night against App. State.

On the game’s third play from scrimmage, Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik hit freshman Bryant Wesco on a 76-yard touchdown pass with 13:46 to play in the first quarter.

On third down-and-11 from the Clemson 24, Klubnik dropped back and found Wesco running wide open down the seam for an easy touchdown.

The quick touchdown pass gave the Tigers a 7-0 lead.
