In-State RB Announces Clemson Offer

CLEMSON- The Tigers have handed out the first 2026 offer to a running back.

4-star Jaylen McGill (Mountain View Prep) announced the offer on Saturday while on an unofficial visit to the school. The in-state back made the announcement via social media shortly before Clemson’s home-opener against App State.

McGill has camped at Clemson multiple times in recent years, including last June. He now has more than 20 offers, with some of the bigger one coming from Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina, Florida State and Georgia.

The blue-chip prospect ranks as high as No. 176 overall and No. 16 among all players at his position. He is also considered one of the five-best players in the state.
