In-State Prospect Announces Commitment to Clemson

Erik Bakich and Clemson have picked up another commitment for the 2026 recruiting class.

Ethan Offing, out of Dutch Fork, announced the verbal pledge via social media.

“My family and I are very excited to announce my commitment to Clemson University to further my academic and baseball career,” Offing said on X.

Offing is the top-ranked shortstop in the state, and one of the five-best players overall in South Carolina. He is also a quarterback for the Silver Foxes.

As a sophomore, Offing hit .265 with a homer, 12 RBIs, 16 runs scored and 13 stolen bases.
