During his weekly radio show Monday night, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney revealed that he expects starting right guard and redshirt senior Walker Parks to return for his sixth and final season with the Tigers in 2025.

Swinney also said he doesn’t think Clemson will lose anybody on offense after this season besides senior offensive lineman Marcus Tate, senior running back Phil Mafah and senior tight end Jake Briningstool.

On Tuesday, during his weekly press conference, Swinney was asked if he includes junior quarterback Cade Klubnik in the group of players on offense that Swinney expects to return next year.

Heading into Saturday’s game vs. Stanford at Death Valley (7 p.m., ESPN), Klubnik has completed 73.4 percent of his passes for 729 yards and eight touchdowns with one interception through three games this season, to go with 58 rushing yards and three rushing scores on 10 carries.

“I don’t know why he wouldn’t be,” Swinney said regarding whether he thinks Klubnik will be back next season. “Yeah. I mean, he needs to just beat Stanford, worry about all that stuff. But yeah, I mean, he’s a junior.

“You may have somebody that may just want to move on somewhere else. You never know. But our anticipation, just where we are on paper – we know we’re going to lose Marcus and Brinny and Phil. But outside of that, we expect everybody back. We’re building good momentum with this group, and more on the way.”

Swinney added it’s the “same thing defensively,” and that the Tigers have “a couple guys” on the defensive side of the ball “that’ll probably have a decision to make.”

“We know we’re going to lose (fifth-year senior safety) R.J. (Mickens), we know we’re going to lose (senior linebacker) Barrett (Carter), we know we’re going to lose (senior defensive tackle) Payton (Page),” Swinney said. “Outside of that, we’ll see.”
