One of Clemson’s top receiver targets was back on campus this weekend.

4-star wideout Ryan Mosley (Carrollton, GA) was in attendance for the blowout win over NC State, his first time on campus since the summer.

There were a number of things that stood out to the blue-chip talent during the visit, most notably the culture that so many have raved about over the years.

“Just the fans, the atmosphere and the community,” Mosley told The Clemson Insider. “Clemson is a special place.”

Something else noteworthy is the resurgence the Tigers are experiencing on the offensive side of the ball. It was something Mosley enjoyed getting a firsthand look at.

“It was amazing,” he said. “They throwing the ball, they running it. It is just an all-around offense.”

The 6-foot-2 receiver can easily see himself making plays in Garrett Riley’s scheme.

“Just go to Clemson and be one of those playmakers in that offense,” Mosley said.

Since the contact period began back in June, Mosley said wide receivers coach Tyler Grisham has done a tremendous job of recruiting him. In fact, he said Grisham is one of the coaches he hears from the most.

“It’s amazing,” Mosley said. “We communicate every week. Talk every week. Text, calls, all that.

Along with his visit to Clemson, Mosley has already taken game day visits to Alabama and Louisville. He still plans to get to Auburn and Georgia. He is also planning to get back to Clemson either in late October or November.

South Carolina, Clemson, Auburn, Alabama and Georgia are the schools Mosley said are recruiting him the hardest, and there is something that separates the Tigers a little from the rest of the pack.

“Just the coaching staff. The atmosphere at Clemson and how great it is,” Mosley added.

While the talented receiver has no definitive timeline for making a decision, he did say that it could come as soon as the end of his junior season. At some point, he also plans to release a list of top schools, noting that Clemson would on it.

Until that time comes, Mosley will continue to go through the process, looking for the place that makes him feel most at home.

“Just a place that makes you feel at home,” Mosley said. “A place where I can leave and be like a like a name to remember for that college. Again, just the place that makes it feel like I’m home.”
