The Clemson Insider wanted to pass along an update on one of Clemson’s starting defensive linemen.

Redshirt senior defensive tackle DeMonte Capehart was out on the field in cleats and stretching before tonight’s game vs. Stanford at Death Valley (7 p.m., ESPN).

Capehart was banged up in last week’s win over NC State.

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney spoke this past week about Capehart’s status for tonight’s game, saying he “was doing better.”

Capehart has started all three games thus far this season for the Tigers. The Hartsville, S.C., native contributed five tackles in the season opener against Georgia before recording one tackle each in the games vs. Appalachian State and NC State.
