    Tigers Strike Quickly for First Score vs. Stanford

    The 17th-ranked Clemson Tigers struck quickly for the first score of tonight’s game against Stanford at Death Valley.

    Following a turnover on downs by the the Cardinal on the opening possession of the contest, it took Clemson just three plays to convert the turnover on downs into a touchdown.

    Quarterback Cade Klubnik took off to his right on a scramble and took it to the house to put the Tigers on the board with a 34-yard touchdown run .

    It marked the junior signal-caller’s fourth rushing touchdown in the last three games, and it gave Clemson a 7-0 lead over the Cardinal with 12:19 to play in the first quarter.
