Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney met with the media following the 17 th -ranked Tigers’ 40-14 victory over Stanford on Saturday night at Death Valley.

Swinney gave a few injury updates, including one on redshirt junior receiver Troy Stellato. Swinney said Stellato got hurt on Tuesday or Wednesday and the Tigers thought his injury was “really bad,” but they got the “best-case news.”

“I’m really happy for him. So, he’s day-to-day,” Swinney said. “And I’m thankful because he was close to not being day-to-day, he was going to be out for a while. So, I’m really happy for Troy because he’s been through a lot, man. Like I said, it was kind of best-case news for him. What he’s dealing with, he’ll be all right. He’ll heal up.”

Meanwhile, redshirt sophomore receiver Antonio Williams “got a little banged up” in Saturday’s game but “should be all right” according to Swinney, who said they think sophomore safety Khalil Barnes is “OK” after getting banged up as well.

Clemson returns to action next Saturday, Oct. 5 against Florida State at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. (ESPN).
