Swinney Gives Injury Update on Two Key Linemen

During his weekly Tuesday press conference, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney provided an injury update on a pair of linemen.

Swinney said redshirt freshman defensive tackle Stephiylan Green and sophomore offensive lineman Harris Sewell are “both day to day” ahead of Saturday’s game at Wake Forest.

“Both working their way back,” Swinney said. “They’re both day to day, and trending in a good direction. So, we’re in a good spot there.”

Green and Sewell, both key reserves for Clemson in the trenches, were not on the Tigers’ travel roster for last Saturday’s game at Florida State due to injuries.

Saturday’s game between the 10th-ranked Tigers (4-1, 3-0 ACC) and Demon Deacons (2-3, 1-1) is set for a noon (ESPN) kickoff at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C.
