Bad news for UGA

More bad news for the Georgia football program.

According to multiple reports, senior wide receiver Colbie Young has been arrested for battery and assault on an unborn child.

Young is the seventh Bulldog player to get arrested since this past March.

Through five games for the Bulldogs (4-1, 2-1 SEC) this season, Young has recorded 11 catches for 149 yards and two touchdowns. He had three receptions for a team-high 51 yards Georgia’s win over Auburn last Saturday.

Prior to joining the Bulldogs in December, the 6-foot-3, 215-pounder spent two seasons at Miami after playing one season at Lackawanna College.

Young totaled 79 receptions for 930 yards and 10 touchdowns in 22 games for the Hurricanes. In 2023, he finished third on the team in receptions (47) and receiving yards (563) as well as tied for second in touchdown receptions (five).
