    If you haven't made plans for Mother's Day this Sunday, it's not too late.

    Mother's Day is Sunday, May 12, and Fort Collins has plenty of ways to celebrate moms, whether you want to treat her to brunch, jam to live music or pot some plants together. Here's a (non-comprehensive) list of things to do and places to eat this Mother's Day weekend in Northern Colorado.

    Mother's Day brunches, meals in Fort Collins, Wellington

    Austin’s American Grill, 100 W. Mountain Ave. and 2815 E. Harmony Road

    When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    Both Austin's locations in Fort Collins will be serving a special Mother's Day brunch menu along with their regular menu Sunday, with specialties including prime rib and French toast. Make a reservation online , or call 970-224-9691 for the Old Town location or 970-267-6532 for the Harmony location.

    Bistro Nautile, 150 W. Oak St .

    When: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    Seafood lovers may want to treat mom to brunch at this French bistro, which is serving a special brunch menu featuring several a la carte and entrée options, from oysters to smoked salmon benedict.     FoCo Cafe, 225 Maple St.

    When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    The Mother's Day celebration at FoCo Cafe includes live music, mocktails, a gift basket drawing and a special Mother's Day menu. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children, and tickets are still available for noon and 1 p.m. as of Wednesday afternoon.

    Ginger and Baker, 359 Linden St.

    When: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in The Café

    The Cache is fully booked for Mother's Day, according to their website, but the first-floor Café will be open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They don't accept reservations for the Café.

    If you plan on stopping by, make your day extra special by preordering flowers from CC's Flower Truck that can be delivered to your table or be picked up when you arrive.

    Moot House, 2626 S. College Ave.

    When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    Mother's Day brunch at Moot House features a special menu with prime rib, biscuits and gravy, mimosas and other brunch favorites. The restaurant's full menu will also be available all day.

    Papa's Table, 3728 Cleveland Ave . , Wellington

    When: noon to 6 p.m.

    Papa's Table's regular menu will be unavailable Sunday, and instead they'll be serving a special Mother's Day menu including roast prime rib, fresh swordfish and seafood lasagna. A kids plate is also available. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling 970-568-4139 and speaking with a staff member.

    Sonny Lubick's Steakhouse, 115 S. College Ave.

    When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    Sonny Lubick's Steakhouse has a special Mother's Day brunch menu Sunday with steak and eggs, slow-roasted prime rib, a seafood tower and more to choose from.

    Mother's Day activities in Fort Collins

    From enjoying drinks to potting plants, here are some activities to help celebrate moms on Sunday:

    Enjoy a cocktail and cheesecake at Blurred Words , 1205 W Elizabeth St., Unit I

    When: Saturday starting at 4 p.m.

    Blurred Words, a new 1920s-themed bookstore and speakeasy bar, is hosting Mom's Night Out on Saturday from 4-11:45 p.m. All moms will get a free mini cheesecake with the purchase of a drink (while supplies last).

    Garden tea party and plant potting at Fossil Creek Nursery, 7029 S. College Ave.

    When: Saturday at 5 p.m.

    Enjoy some tea from Happy Lucky's Tea House while potting your own annual arrangement with guidance from an instructor on which plants go best together based on looks, water and sunlight requirements. The event is BYOP (bring your own pot), but pots can also be purchased before the event starts.

    Tickets are $65 per person and can be purchased online at the Fossil Creek Nursery website. .

    Mother's Day 5k at Lesher Middle School, 1400 Stover St.

    When: 9 a.m. Saturday

    Start Mother's Day weekend with the 8th annual Fort Collins Mother's Day 5k run/walk hosted by Lesher Middle School. The race will take you around University Acres neighborhood and the Colorado State University Flower Trial Gardens and into Old Town.

    Does your mother, grandmother, aunt or other family live elsewhere? They can still participate virtually and they'll even get a race shirt mailed to them.

    Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for Poudre School District students. Register online.

    Drinks and live music at Odell Brewing and Odell Wine Project , 800 and 824 E. Lincoln Ave.

    Odell Wine Project is celebrating moms with mimosas and frosé all day Sunday and $2 off a glass when you bring your mom "or someone motherly to you." You can browse bouquets from Aesoph Flowers all day and enjoy live music by Christine Alice from noon to 2 p.m.

    There will also be live acoustic Americana and bluegrass music by Jay Roemer from 4-6 p.m. on the brewery side Sunday, with the food truck "Baked" parked outside all day serving loaded baked potatoes and sliders.

    Attend a 'Plantiness Party' at The Reserve by Old Elk Distillery, 253 Linden St.

    When: Sunday at 2 p.m.

    Spend time celebrating mom Sunday by decorating houseplant pots at The Reserve by Old Elk Distillery's Plantiness Party. Attendees will get to choose a houseplant and decorate a terra cotta pot with paint, stickers, ribbon, decoupage and more. Everyone will get a plant for their decorated pot and an additional plant to give away to someone special. Of-age attendees will also get a complimentary cocktail.

    Tickets are $45 per adult and $30 per child and can be purchased online .
