Fort Collins' former Macy's has a new (but temporary) tenant

Spirit Halloween has officially come out of hibernation.

The seasonal Halloween store opened two locations in Fort Collins last month. One took over Front Range Village's former Nike Unite store, 2721 Council Tree Ave., Suite 101. The other has set up shop in Foothills mall's former Macy's, 215 E. Foothills Parkway, Suite 225.

The chain typically keeps stores open into early November.

As of late September, Spirit Halloween's Foothills location was open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, per the store's website. The Front Range Village store was open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, according to a sign in its door.
