Southbound onramps and offramps of Interstate 25 at Mulberry Street (Colorado Highway 14) will be closed Oct. 1-4.

The closures will be in place from 7 p.m. Oct. 1 to 6 a.m. Oct. 4.

The ramps will be closed to allow crews to complete repairing broken concrete slabs up to Owl Canyon Road, according to a Colorado Department of Transportation news release.

The detour for the onramp to southbound I-25 from westbound Mulberry Street includes going northbound on I-25 to Exit 271 (Mountain Vista), turning left on Mountain Vista Drive, then entering southbound I-25 using the onramp.

The detour for the offramp from southbound I-25 to Mulberry Street includes continuing south past Exit 269A on I-25 to Exit 268 (Prospect Road) and entering northbound I-25 using the onramp to take Exit 269A.

Crews completed repairing broken concrete slabs on northbound I-25 in 2023. The project to repair broken concrete slabs on southbound I-25 started in April and is anticipated to be completed in December.

The project length is 12 miles. Cost to repair the concrete slabs is $11.9 million, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The project is not part of the completed North I-25 Express Lanes project.
