From a local restaurant on national television to expansions of a pizza spot and celebrated bakery, there's a lot going on in food news this week.

Columbus restaurant to be featured on Food Network

Celebrity chef Guy Fieri is now in the 45th season of hosting Diners, Drive-ins and Dives , and he's featuring a local favorite from his hometown of Columbus on an upcoming episode titled "From Breakfast to the Boot." The teaser for the episode calls the restaurant a "brunch bonanza" with a "funkalicious fried chicken French toast sammy." But it was the mention of dulce de leche pancake balls that give the best hint to the restaurant they'll likely be visiting . This leaves two questions: whether Fieri's crew filmed in Clintonville or Harrison West, and if pancake balls keep well enough to reheat and munch on during an evening viewing? These questions will be answered when the episode airs on Aug. 16.
