    High Bank's Westerville outpost one of several new central Ohio restaurants opening

    This week in central Ohio, we’re welcoming the opening of a new market hall, a new distillery restaurant and a coffee pop-up.

    High Bank Distillery will open its third location at 28 S. State St. in Uptown Westerville Tuesday. This newest outpost of the distillery’s restaurants makes its home in the former Westerville post office building. In addition to featuring cocktails with its award-winning spirits, High Bank will serve lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. The $2.7 million renovation and conversion project was developed by Steve Wathen of commercial real estate firm Equity and John Brooks of BTTS Holdings, an event and hospitality operator. High Bank also has restaurants in Grandview and Gahanna.

    Little Grand Market debuts in Grandview

    This Friday at 6 p.m., the Little Grand Market will open its doors at 710 Grandview Crossing Way. The market hall is operated by Thrive Cos., builder of the development surrounding it. It will feature 10 different food vendors selling everything from Vietnamese to Cuban dishes, Korean to Mexican fare, fried chicken to cookies. The market will also feature the Little Grand Bar and a third Columbus edition of Thrive’s in-house coffee shop/cocktail bar concept, Bada Bean Bada Booze. This week the market owners announced a weekly farmers market that begins this weekend, featuring more than 20 vendors from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through November.

    Kape Coffee pops up at the Wolf’s Ridge taproom

    The Asian-inspired coffee pop-up Kape Coffee recently started a residency at Wolf’s Ridge Brewing’s taproom (159 E. Hickory St. downtown). It’s open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays. In addition to pour overs and a full espresso bar, Kape serves signature drinks like a black sesame latte, matcha latte and yuja tonic. Kape has previously popped up at The Leisure Club, Bonifacio and The Branch.
