Ohio high school football is here: Week 1 OHSAA schedule for Columbus area

The 2024 high school football season has arrived. Week 1 kicks off around the state Thursday, but the first central Ohio games are Friday .

Highlights include: Stephen Ayers' first game as Beechcroft coach ; three-time defending Division I state champion Lakewood St. Edward visiting Pickerington North ; Division V power Harvest Prep taking on Pickerington Central; and rivalry showdowns between Olentangy Liberty and Olentangy and Westerville North and Westerville Central.
