Columbus Crew vs Seattle Sounders: How to watch, stream MLS match

By Brianna Mac Kay, Columbus Dispatch,

Despite a September FIFA international window that has allowed for most MLS teams an off week, the Crew are one of the 12 teams playing during the break.

The Crew are slated to face the Seattle Sounders on Saturday, a home match that was originally scheduled for June 1. Once the Crew reached the CONCACAF Champions Cup final , they were forced to reschedule due to it falling on the same date as the final.

This is one of two matches that were moved due to the final, with the Crew vs New England Revolution being rescheduled to Oct. 12 from its original date of May 29. The difference for the Seattle match is the fact that it's being played during the international break, so Columbus will be without seven players. Seattle will be without two players.

"To be honest, nothing changes," Nancy said. "We had 17 players, but I didn’t add a few players, more players from the academy to reach 21 players. I’m happy with the 17 because it will give them more time.”
