Before the 2024 season began last weekend, fans of almost half the teams in the NFL gathered at Fairwood Park on the South Side of Columbus to enjoy some barbecue and talk some smack.
"There's nothing but love today," one Dallas Cowboys fan said from the orange-canopied tent of the Browns of Columbus, an East Side fan club for the Cleveland Browns . But it was a love that couldn't last; Dallas defeated the Browns last Sunday.
So NFL fans all around central Ohio now have returned to their own turf: bars and restaurants from Columbus to the suburbs and surrounding counties where everyone wears the same colors and no one dares ask to change the channel.
Here's a rundown of where you can find like-minded fans this season.
Central Ohio Bills Backers gather for games at Spoonz Pub and Patio, 7426 Sawmill Road on the Far Northwest Side.
Columbus Ohio Bears Backers watch the team at Andon's Pub, 5815 Karric Square Drive, near Dublin on the Northwest Side.

The team's website lists six official Bengals' bars in central Ohio:

- D&S Lounge , 6065 Channingway Blvd. on the Far East Side, is home to 614 Bengals , a local fan group.
- Mugsy's Pub and Patio , 1040 Hilliard Rome Road, Far West Side
- Pecan Penny's , 113 E. Main St., Downtown
- Short North Pint House , 780 N. High St., Short North
- Taft's Brewing Co. , 440 W. Broad St., Franklinton
In addition, The Corner: A Bar & Grill , 1751 Hill Road N. in Pickerington, is home to a bigger-than-big-screen TV and a new group called Pickerington Bengals Nation .
Cleveland Browns
The Browns boast a plethora of spots for fans to gather in central Ohio.
- The Barn on York , 5103 York Road SW in Pataskala, is home to the Pataskala Dawg Pound .
- Buffalo Wild Wings , 1283 N. Memorial Drive in Lancaster, is the meeting place for Glass City Browns Backers .
- Cardo's Pizza & Tavern , 7897 Refugee Road in Pickerington, is where the Picktown Browns Backers group gathers.
- Cornerstone Pub , 1014 N. Hamilton Road in Gahanna, is the official meeting spot for Gahanna's Dawg Pound .
- Doughboyz Pizza & Pub , 15 Front St. in Commercial Point, is home for the Pickaway County Browns Backers .
- Fifteen32 Social , 1532 Bethel Road on the Northwest Side, is the viewing location for Northwest Columbus Browns Backers .
- Firehouse Tavern , 38 S. Vernon St. in Sunbury, is home to the Sunbury Browns Backers .
- Two Grove City bars — Frontrow Sports Bar , 3036 Southwest Blvd., and The Upper Deck , 4063 Hoover Road — host the Grove City Browns Backers .
- Good Times Pub , 837 N. Houk Road in Delaware, is home to the Delaware Dawg Pound .

- Rusty Bucket , 6726 Perimeter Loop Road in Dublin, is home for the Dublin Browns Backers .
