Here are the new concessions at Nationwide Arena for the CBJ season

The Columbus Blue Jackets and Buffalo Sabres will go head-to-head tonight in a 2-foot box of nachos.

On one side: red, blue and yellow corn chips; beer-cheese sauce and cotija cheese; corn salsa and scallions representing the home team. On the other: potato chips topped with queso, corned beef and thousand island dressing.

Every team the Jackets battle on the ice this season at Nationwide Arena will be represented in nacho form at two concessions counters, on the main concourse near Section 121 and on the upper concourse near Section 217. The Blue Tortilla stands also sell burritos, walking tacos and items such as soft pretzels, peanuts and hot dogs.

And don't worry: You're no less loyal to the home team if you prefer the opponent's nachos. The hockey version of the Florida Panthers came from behind Tuesday to defeat the Blue Jackets , but they had the edge all night at the nacho stands.

The South nachos — the regionwide name and recipe will make a return for the Jackets' home games against Nashville, Dallas, Carolina and Tampa Bay — were topped with sweet pulled pork, creamy and vinegary white barbecue sauce, pickled jalapenos and pico de gallo.

The nachos for Buffalo are the East Coast recipe, according to Sean Barger, the executive chef who oversees the food served at Nationwide Arena.

The regional and Ohio nachos, which are sold for every Jackets game, are available separately for $19.99 each in foot-long boxes or side-by-side in a 2-foot box for $34.99.

Other new items on Nationwide Arena's concessions menu this season include:

    • Japanese-inspired bento boxes with chicken, beef or veggie meatballs; soba-noodle salad or rice; marinated egg, house-made pickles and kohlrabi slaw will be at the Stix cart near Section 102.
    • Pucks & Clucks, a cart near Section 105, will sell boneless wings with your choice of sauce, vegan nuggets, grilled- and fried-chicken sandwiches and a special Hawaiian burger.
    • Spirits & Spuds, near Section 104, will offer topped fingerling potatoes and high-end liquor selections.
    • The Wild Turkey Hat Trick Bar, which opened in 2023 near the arena’s Front Street entrance at Section 107, will serve Italian-themed food this season and has added a grab-and-go beverage station.
    • On the upper concourse, the Sweet Spot near Section 202 will sell frozen custard, freshly baked cookies, cotton candy and other treats.
