Cowboys WR Brandin Cooks (personal) leaves camp

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks left training camp for personal reasons on Tuesday. Coach Mike McCarthy said Cooks won't return to Oxnard, Calif., and will rejoin the team in Texas. "Everything is good," McCarthy said. "It's a good thing. But he won't practice today or tomorrow." Dallas hosts the Los Angeles Chargers in the preseason finale on Saturday afternoon in Arlington, Texas. Cooks, 30, caught 54 passes for 657 yards and eight TDs in 16 games (15 starts) with the Cowboys in 2023.
