    Two injuries crashes occur Saturday in Coshocton

    COSHOCTON − The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office reported two separate traffic crashes involving injuries from Saturday.

    The first happened at 5:08 p.m. in the 27000 block of Ohio 83 in Keene Township. Authorities in a press release said Adam Bruno, 42, of Cuyahoga County, was headed northbound on a motorcycle. He went off the road and struck a sign before coming to a stop against a utility pole.

    He was transported to Genesis Coshocton Medical Center and then flown by MedFlight to Akron Summa Hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. Assisting on scene were Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services, Three Rivers Fire Department, Prince's Wrecker Service and REACT.

    The second incident was at 8:35 p.m. in the 32000 block of Tiverton Township Road 352. A press release said Melinda Bricker, 18, of Jefferson Township was traveling east on an electric bicycle when she struck a pothole in the road. She was ejected from the bike and it then struck another electric bicycle being operated by a juvenile.

    The juvenile was treated and released on scene while Bricker was flown by MedFlight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus for treatment of undisclosed injuries. Assisting on scene were Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services, Eastern Knox County Joint Fire District and Walhonding Valley Fire District.
