Still, there were three local teams who managed to win a game in late February. Here's how every Houma- and Thibodaux-area school did:

    A.J. Ellender

The Patriots claimed the 27th seed in Division II non-select, but lost their first-round game to No. 6 Bossier City, 62-36.

    Central Lafourche

CL clinched the 24-seed in Division I non-select and nearly pulled off the upset over 9-seed H.L. Bourgeois, but lost 67-64 at the buzzer.

    Covenant Christian

CCA was the No. 12 seed in the Division IV select bracket, but the Lions were upset by No. 21 Highland Baptist in the first round, 52-45.

    E.D. White

The Cardinals barely made the Division II select playoffs as the 23-seed. EDW still managed to pull off the upset over No. 10 Evangel Christian, 47-44, in the first round. However, the Cardinals' playoff run ended in the second round, falling to No. 7 Lord Beaconsfield Landry, 61-47.
