Who's in? Get every Houma- and Thibodaux-area team in LHSAA softball playoffs here

It's playoff time for Louisiana high school softball.

The playoff pairings were announced Wednesday afternoon. Five teams from the Houma- and Thibodaux-area made this year's postseason, representing four divisions The first round runs through Saturday, with the second round a week from Wednesday, the quarterfinals ending next weekend, and the state title games on April 26 and 27.

Here's every local softball team that made the 2024 LHSAA tournaments:

Division II non-select

No. 10 Assumption vs. No. 23 Pearl River (Friday, 4 p.m.)

Division III non-select

No. 13 St. James vs. No. 20 Springfield (Friday, 5 p.m.)

Division III select

No. 2 Vandebilt Catholic (first-round bye)

No. 4 E.D. White (first-round bye)

Division IV select

No. 12 Covenant Christian vs. No. 21 St. Martin's Episcopal (Friday, 5 p.m. at The Farm System in Thibodaux)
