In the Houma-Thibodaux area, the schedule gets underway on Thursday as South Terrebonne hosts Lutcher and Houma Christian travels to West St. Mary.

The bulk of the games are on Friday, though, highlighted by two games involving two local teams as Vandebilt Catholic hosts South Lafourche and Assumption hosts A.J. Ellender, and by a matchup between two playoff semifinalist teams from a year ago in St. James and Archbishop Shaw.
