    Thursday, May 9

    • Teen Book Club at 4 p.m. Pride and Premeditation by Tirzah Price. New

    members always welcome.

    • Garman Nature Preserve Hike from 5-6:30 p.m. (RAIN DATE). Join us for a

    spring tour through the Garman Nature Preserve. Learn more about this

    community gem! Visit the library website to sign up, or call the library.

    • Cook the Book at 6 p.m. Join us for a fun twist on a recipe exchange. This

    month’s theme – Mom’s Favorite! Choose a recipe from a designated cook book in the library. Take a copy of that recipe home – make it and bring to the library on May 9. Taste different dishes and go home with a recipe book. No registration

    required – stop in the library to choose your recipe!

    Friday, May 10

    • Homeschool Silent Friday at 10 a.m. Homeschool families are invited to

    immerse themselves in using American Sign Language (ASL) while working on an art project. Beginners are welcome! This program will be taking a break for the summer months in June to August.

    Monday, May 13

    • Early Literacy Storytime at 10 a.m. Stories, songs and activities are enjoyed by

    everyone. Recommended for preschool and younger. No registration needed.

    Drop-in!

    • Read to Rover from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Did you know that reading to dogs can boost reading skills and confidence as well as help with emotional and social skills? Children are needed to read to a kind therapy dog named Rhoda for 15 minutes! Sign up online.

    • Clark Adult Book Club at 6 p.m. The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner. New

    members always welcome.

    Tuesday, May 14

    • Needle Crafters at 10 a.m. All ages and abilities welcome.

    • BINGO 4 Books at 5 p.m. All ages welcome to play BINGO with the best prizes

    – BOOKS! Drop-in.

    Thursday, May 16

    • Adult Craft Night at 6 p.m. Come learn to create beautiful beaded bookmarks!
