The FBI is currently investigating Kentucky-based company Addiction Recovery Care on health care fraud allegations.

According to Louisville's FBI division, the substance abuse treatment provider, headquartered in Louisa, provides residential and outpatient treatment at various facilities across the commonwealth.

"If you believe you were victimized by ARC or have information relevant to this investigation, please fill out this short form," agents said in a statement .

Addiction Recovery Care spokesperson Kyle Collier said the company is confident in its program and services and is a trailblazer in addiction treatment and recovery.

"We have recently learned that there is a federal investigation into ARC. As we all know, health care is one of the most highly regulated fields in the country, and addiction treatment is among the most highly scrutinized healthcare services," Collier stated. "We, and our legal counsel, are cooperating fully in the investigation."

No criminal charges have been brought against the company and the FBI is unable to provide additional details as the investigation is ongoing.

Addiction Recovery Care has multiple facilities across the commonwealth, including an outpatient facility in Louisville. A new facility is also being built in the area at the old location of Spencerian College on Dixie Highway.

Oh trust and believe if the FBI is involved, and they’ve made it public, they’ve got enough to take them down. They’re just wanting as much evidence as they can get before they take it to court.
