Beshear takes the stage at the DNC

Gov. Andy Beshear had a prime speaking spot at the Democratic National Convention on Monday night. Beshear was introduced following a segment that highlighted reproductive rights and included an introduction from Hadley Duvall who recorded ads for both Beshear and Joe Biden before his decision to drop out of the 2024 election. He mentioned the 2021 Western Kentucky tornadoes and 2022 Eastern Kentucky floods of 2022 , thanking President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for asking what the state needed — "and folks, they delivered."

Sunday, Beshear revealed in an interview that Kentucky's Ford BlueOval SK plant won't be unionized when it opens in Hardin County. He said it's because of an agreement between  Ford Chief Executive Officer Jim Farley and United Auto Workers President Shawn Fain. Here's what to know from Beshear's latest TV interview.
