Louisville football schedule: Dates, times, TV channels for 2024 season

In 2022, Jeff Brohm returned home to Louisville to lead his alma mater and its football program past the disastrous end of the second Bobby Petrino era and the maddening mediocrity of Scott Satterfield’s four-year tenure.

In 2023, he followed through on that promise and hype, leading the Cardinals to a 10-4 record and their first-ever ACC championship game appearance.

What might 2024 have in store?

With a strong returning defense and an offense reloaded with several key pieces from the transfer portal — though the most prominent of those, wide receiver Caullin Lacy , is out for six to eight weeks with a broken collarbone — Louisville appears well-positioned to build on its successful first season under Brohm.

Heading into the season, the Cardinals are the team receiving the second-most votes outside of the top 25 of the US LBM Coaches Poll and were picked to finish fifth in the newly expanded 17-team ACC in the league’s preseason poll.
