    Dave Matthews Band, Slayer, Sting and dozens more shows coming to Louisville in September

    September is a big month for live music in Louisville, with Louder Than Life and Bourbon & Beyond , the undisputed Mac Daddy festivals of the year, happening this month. With headliners Dave Matthews Band , Sting , Zach Bryan , and Tyler Childers playing Bourbon & Beyond and Slayer , Mötley Crüe, Slipknot , and Korn headlining Louder Than Life, is there even room for more music around this city in September?

    You bet!

    Grammy Award winner Paula Cole will perform an intimate concert at a luxurious venue about 10 minutes east of Valhalla Golf Club. WFPK Waterfront Wednesday wraps up its 2024 free outdoor concert season in September and for those who prefer their entertainment accompanied by cool crisp air conditioning, the Louisville Palace and KFC YUM Center may be just the ticket.

    Here are the major entertainment acts coming to Louisville in September.

    Bourbon & Beyond

    WHAT: Bourbon & Beyond , the world's largest bourbon and music festival, returns to Louisville's Highland Festival Grounds for four days of top-tier music, spirits, and culinary experiences. This year, 100 musical acts will perform at the festival, including headliners Sting, and Beck on Thursday, Dave Matthews Band and Tedeschi Trucks Band on Friday, Zach Bryan and Cody Jinks on Saturday, and Tyler Childers and My Morning Jacket on Sunday, along with Matchbox Twenty, The National, Whiskey Myers, Black Pumas, Fleet Foxes, The War On Drugs, Mt. Joy, The Beach Boys, Young the Giant, Maren Morris, The Head and the Heart, Melissa Etheridge, Teddy Swims, and more.

    Louder Than Life

    WHAT: Louder Than Life , North America's largest rock festival will celebrate its 10th year in Louisville with a stellar lineup spanning four days at the Highland Festival Grounds. Louder Than Life headliners include the mighty return of slash gods Slayer , plus Mötley Crüe, Slipknot , and Korn . Also performing Sept. 26-29 at the Highland Festival Grounds at Kentucky Exposition Center is Disturbed , Judas Priest , Five Finger Death Punch , Evanescence , Falling in Reverse , Breaking Benjamin , The Offspring , Staind , Till Lindemann , Chevelle , Dropkick Murphys , Halestorm , Gojira , Seether , In This Moment , Anthrax , Sum 41 , Mastodon , Tom Morello , and many additional artists.

    WHAT: An intimate evening with Grammy Award-winning, singer and songwriter Paula Cole held at a historic Kentucky estate.
