Ashley Lilleston voted Greer's Flooring America/C&P Student of the Week

This week's Greer's Flooring America/Courier & Press Student of the Week winner is from Mount Vernon High School.

Ashley Lilleston garnered 54.9 percent of the more than 29,000 votes cast at courierpress.com and on the Courier & Press app.

Here's what a Mount Vernon High School representative said about Lilleston in the nomination:

Ashley Lilleston is a kind, caring, and hard-working senior at Mount Vernon High School. She participates in track and cross county, and she is also an active member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, Student Council, and FCA. Ashley embraces challenges and is a blessing to have in class. She works at the highest level every day. She deeply cares about her fellow classmates and the community, never hesitating to help those around her. Ashley plans to attend the University of Evansville in the fall to study biochemistry in preparation for a career in optometry.
