    Looking for something to do in the Evansville and Henderson area this weekend? Check out our list of local events and activities.

    Thursday

    Early Learners Academy

    9:30 a.m., cMoe-Koch Family Children's Museum of Evansville, 22 SE Fifth St. Free.

    The Early Learners Academy is a six-week series of classes that incorporate both S.T.E.A.M elements and provoke creativity for children ages 4 and 5.

    Afroman

    7 p.m., Lamasco Bar and Grill, 1331 W. Franklin St. Tickets range $40 to $100

    This 21-and-over show will feature local artists and headliner Afroman, who vaulted to stardom with his song "Because I Got High."

    Friday

    Henderson Farmers Market

    Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon, Henderson Farmers Market, 381 Sam Ball Way Fairgrounds in Henderson. Free admission .

    Discover fresh local produce, jams, meat, homegrown flowers, and baked goods every Friday and Saturday through October.

    Joe Bonamassa

    8 p.m., Old National Events Plaza, 715 Locust St. Tickets range from $53 to $254.

    Grammy-nominated guitarist Joe Bonamassa is stopping in Evansville on his "Blues Deluxe" tour.

    Saturday

    Evansville Farmers Market

    9 a.m. to 2 p.m., 815 John St. Free.

    Shop from local vendors and food trucks while joining the fun of this weekly market.

    Franklin Street Bazaar

    9 a.m. to 1 p.m. along West Franklin Street. Free.

    This weekly market is on the lawn of the EVPL West Branch Library with hundreds of vendors from local farmers and producers to bakers to artists and craftsmen having pop-up shops for visitors to check out local products.

    S.T.E.A.M. Saturday

    10 a.m. CMoe-Koch Family Children's Museum of Evansville, 22 SE Fifth St. Activities included with general admission.

    Happening every third Saturday, visitors can explore an interactive, hands-on activity designed to spark curiosity in science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

    Sunday

    Pop-up Community Market

    10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Young and Established, 1308 Vann Ave. Free.

    This community event will offer a market variety of unique and different local small business vendors and farm vendors. Paw Street Inc. will be there to check furbaby chips and vendors will offer items for animals as well.
