An Evansville home that's up for sale has landed on the "Zillow Gone Wild" social media page , which celebrates unique and interesting houses to more than 1 million followers.

The home in question is a Mid Century Mode rn built in 1958 at 950 S. Meadow Road , not far from the campus of Ascension St. Vincent Evansville, near Washington Avenue.

Mid Century Modern, according to the home decor site The Spruce , is a concept from the mid 20th Century "defined by simple, functional, and wooden furniture. ... (It is) rooted in functionality, clean lines, and simplicity, which reflected the world at that time."

    Their description in the listing?

The home is listed at $444,000. It boasts 2,444 square feet of living space, three bedrooms and three bathrooms, as well as an in-ground pool.

"Thoughtful design that still stretches our style forward, from the custom siding and contrasting parapet features outside to the floor-to-ceiling windows, open kitchen, sunken three-sided fireplace inside. Angled up-lighting inside helps connect the exterior of the home inward, as organic design sites the home with prominence on a grand corner lot. Original fixtures abound. Terrazzo floors," the listing reads.
