    Defiance common pleas

    Tre Vasquez, 31, Stryker (CCNO), pleaded guilty to menacing by stalking, a fourth-degree felony. He was given a 39-month prison term with credit for 60 days served in jail while his case was pending. From June 29-July 1, Vasquez engaged in a pattern of conduct that caused mental distress to another person and also caused the victim to believe that he would cause that person, or their family, serious physical harm. Vasquez also has a history of violence against the victim.

    Damien Bell, 25, Hicksville, appeared for sentencing on a charge of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, a fifth-degree felony, and was placed on community control for two years.

    William Ebersole, 59, 1983 S. Jefferson Ave., pleaded guilty to aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fourth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was scheduled for Oct. 8.

    William Gray, 43, 1131 Ayersville Ave., pleaded guilty to theft, a fifth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was scheduled for Oct. 24.

    Dajon Jones, 29, Detroit, Mich., pleaded guilty to improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fifth-degree felony with specification for forfeiture or property, and OVI, a first-degree misdemeanor. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was scheduled for Oct. 23.

    Travis Kates, 37, Ney, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony; and theft, a first-degree misdemeanor. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was scheduled for Oct. 29.

    Kevin Nonhof, 60, Sheboygan, Wisc., pleaded guilty to attempted felonious assault, a third-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was scheduled for Oct. 23.

    Jeffery Rodesiler, 44, Hicksville, pleaded guilty to attempted tampering with evidence, a fourth-degree felony; and aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was scheduled for Oct. 24.

    Jerry Stevens, 66, Archbold, pleaded guilty to OVI a fourth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was scheduled for Oct. 31.

    Taleya Thomas, 36, 1508 Terrawenda Ave., pleaded guilty to two counts of telecommunications fraud, each a fourth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and her bond was continued. Sentencing was scheduled for Oct. 31.

    Charity Bollman, 38, 8709 Ashpacher Road, pleaded not guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony; and aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Oct. 3 and she was given a personal-recognizance bond.

    Pete Bostelman, 54, Stryker (CCNO) pleaded not guilty to two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, each a second-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Sept. 26 and bond was set at $100,000 with a 10% allowance provision.

    Timothy Canterbury, 27, Stryker (CCNO) pleaded not guilty to possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fourth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Sept. 18 and bond was set at $25,000 with a 10% allowance provision.

    Eric Goudy, 21, Napoleon, pleaded not guilty to unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a fourth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Sept. 27 and he was given a personal-recognizance bond.

    Dustin Jones, 31, Stryker (CCNO), pleaded not guilty to assault, a fourth-degree felony; and vandalism, a fifth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Sept. 10 and bond was set at $50,000 with a 10% allowance provision.

    Stephen Sarnac IV, 42, Wauseon, pleaded not guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Sept. 23 and he was given a personal-recognizance bond.
