Davis campaign to open office in EC on Friday

Congressman Don Davis' re-election campaign is putting down roots in Elizabeth City.

Don Davis for NC plans to host a reception Friday at 4 p.m. to mark the opening of the congressman's campaign office in Elizabeth City, a press release from the campaign states.

The office will be located at 103-H Tanglewood Parkway North, Elizabeth City. The office is located at the Shoppes at Tanglewood shopping center near the Walmart Supercenter, the Hair Cuttery and the Grace Montessori Academy, according to an online map.

Davis, a Democrat from Snow Hill who was first elected in November 2022, is seeking re-election to a second term representing North Carolina's 1st Congressional District. Davis is being challenged in the Nov. 5 election by Republican Laurie Buckhout of Edenton and Libertarian Tom Bailey.
