Despite the closure of a beloved yarn store in downtown Astoria, knitters and crocheters will soon have another hub for yarn and other supplies.

Vanessa Fleming plans to open Oshen Knits and Fibres in the former Candy Skein shop on 12th Street, keeping it a yarn store but adding her own distinct style.
