CAMBRIDGE − Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center will welcome back a Guernsey County institution, the Cambridge Lions Music and Comedy Show, for its annual performance. This year's theme is God and Country, and will feature three different genres of music — country, patriotic and gospel.

A combination of showcasing local talent and bringing big laughs, the show returns for its 48th year, starting Thursday, March 21. Typically selling out, the 2024 event will again highlight members of the Lions Club chorus and local musical acts. The Love Brothers will bring their melodic, devout talent back to the stage, along with performances by Amy Hayes and John Voorhies. Karen Boyer will be at the helm as the choral director for the evening.

While the show is family-friendly, be prepared for some mature jokes as the group typically comments on current happenings in a fun, light-hearted way. The annual performance is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Cambridge Lions. The group averages between $7,500 and $9,000 annually from the event.

The show will run at 7:30 p.m. on March 21-23 — Thursday, Friday and Saturday — at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased at the door or by calling the civic center at 740-439-7009.
