    Hey Guernsey County: Here's what you need to know to start your week

    CAMBRIDGE — The Guernsey County Children Services Board meeting will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Children Services complex, 274 Highland Ave.

    CAMBRIDGE — The Guernsey County Emergency Management Agency will host SKYWARN Spotter Training at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Guernsey County Administration Building, 627 Wheeling Ave. The training is free and typically lasts about two hours. The subjects include severe weather, flooding, and information to be reported to the National Weather Service. The discussion will also focus on the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network.

    Individuals interested in participating in the training must be pre-registered. Informational flyers are available in all the Guernsey County Libraries or by registering online at: www.weather.gov/pbz/skywarn-schedule . Select Guernsey County under the SKYWARN schedule list to register for the program. For more information contact the Guernsey County Emergency Management Agency at 740-432-9292.

    NEW CONCORD — The East Muskingum Local School Board will meet in regular session at 4 p.m. Tuesday. The meeting will be held at the John Glenn High School Library located at 13120 John Glenn School Road

    CAMBRIDGE — The Living Word Outdoor Drama will host a sunrise service from 6:15 to 6:45 a.m. on Easter Sunday, at the amphitheater. Coffee and doughnuts will be served at 6 a.m.

    BATESVILLE — The Batesville United Methodist Church will hold a sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. on Easter morning. Breakfast will follow. The regular service will begin at 9 a.m. A Good Friday service will also be at 10 a.m. March 29 and an Easter egg hunt for area children at 10 a.m. Saturday.
